Geese Migrations Blog Hop Book Tour

Welcome to Day 4 of the Geese Migrations Blog Hop Book Tour!! Hope you have been having lots of fun on your journey.  This is the book we are sharing with you:

We’re very excited about the Geese Migrations Book, which is a wonderful compilation of 29 striking quilt patterns from Judy Niemeyer Certified Shops.  This book may not be reprinted, so be sure to get yours today by clicking here.

Throughout the tour you will get to see little snippets from the book like this one here:

It’s called The Prickly Pear and will be taught by Gretchen Veteran at ScruffyQuilts on October 11th.  To register for the class, click here.  And stay tuned for our Geese Migrations Club, to be taught by Gretchen as well.

Here’s Gretchen’s own version of the quilt:

The book has all the instructions you’ll need to make this lively quilt and all the others pictured in the book.  The foundation papers are sold individually.  Here’s what the Prickly Pear Foundation Papers look like:

The quilt is 70″ x 70″, a nice snuggle-on-the-couch size and a perfect size to display on your bed too!  T0 purchase the Prickly Pear foundation papers, click here.

Another quilt we find particularly striking is Circling the Sun:

Click here to browse all the patterns and kits available at ScruffyQuilts.   Many of the quilts in this book would look fantastic in the Reclaimed West and Seasonal Portraits fabric lines designed by Judy Niemeyer.  Click here to explore Judy’s fabric collections.

  1. I have never done a JN pattern, but after seeing these examples certainly plan to start. The examples I have seen from this book are beautiful. I cannot wait to get my copy. kathleendotlutzatcomcastdotnet

  2. I have a cabinet full of JN kits and/or patterns. But from the book, I want to do Spangled Start and Prickly Pear. Love the book.

  3. The next pattern I’m working on is Paradise in Bloom. However, I’d love to do the geese migrations as well if I won the papers.

  4. The next Judy quilt I will be doing is Fire Island Hosta. I am making it for friends who allowed us to visit them in their home in Costa Rica. It reminds me of the Palm trees that were there everywhere!
You may put me on your mailing list!
